It's that time of year!

It's been awhile since I've gotten to take senior photos...I usually get them right after graduation (for the upcoming year) or right before graduation!  I had a lot of fun with Marc & his families!  It was my first time getting to incorporate a motorcycle - very cool!  Hope you like his pics!

What's the fun in being clean??

I LOVE cake smash sessions.  Yes, they are messy & sometimes seemingly a disaster, but all worth it.  You will never get those moments back.  Yeah you can re-do a cake smash at say a later birthday, but wouldn't it look kind of funny sitting in your underwear smashing a cake & eating it with your hands at say the age 25?  ;)  Some of my moms worry about the mess, but I tell them "if your kid isn't a complete mess by the end of this, then there was something wrong with the cake!"  :)  Just kidding.  Some children dive right in & go crazy & some are more reserved while eating their cake.  I have had just a couple that didn't really want to do it or didn't want the mess on their hands.  That seems like it would be me as a one year old.
That said, Mr. J did a fantastic job!  His cake was an ice cream cake!  (my favorite)  I hope you enjoy these photos from his one year shoot.  By the way, the candy shoppe idea was all his mama's.  :)

What's not to LOVE about a new baby?

I had the pleasure of meeting Baby R when he was one day old.  A week later, I got to photograph him!  He was so sweet.  A particular little boy, & made me work to figure out how to make him happy!  :)  He definitely knows his mama already & loves snuggling with her.  Enjoy these precious baby boy photos!

New horizons

As I dwindle down on my time here in Manhattan, I am finishing up taking photos this month.  I'm excited to go back to photography as a hobby & be able to take photos for my friends.  For those of you who haven't heard, I accepted a new job & will be moving to the Overland Park area.  I have a little bit of time here, so I'm going to be back & forth, moving my stuff slowly.  As I am back in the area, I will continue to take photos for friends!  If I go 2 weeks without shooting, I'm not happy.  :)  So last week I got to take some photos for my friends.  Here's a little bit of what I've done!  Enjoy!
